Wipe Yourself Clean

Poster for greenpatriotposters.org
22" x 32.75"

A poster designed for Green Patriot Posters, a communications campaign centered on posters that encourage all U.S. Citizens to build a sustainable economy. (greenpatriotposters.org)

This poster focuses on eco-friendly towels made out of organic bamboo. It is asking the consumer, Why use towels made out of materials harmful to the environment when you can use towels made out of bamboo that are just as "luxuriously soft and comfortable," but with even better benefits? The subtext is then meant to depict wiping oneself of the guilt of using paper towels or towels made out of harmful materials, thus inducing global warming. The emphasis of the design is on the tension between the structures being hard and colors being soft.
